Copyrights are an increasingly important consideration for the Christian community. There is an explosion of Christian media that has been enabled in part by the availability of inexpensive distribution methods such as CDs, DVDs and the internet.  At the same time, churches and ministries have been using more music, video, and other media in their activities. The combination of these two factors has led Christian leaders to become more aware of copyright issues, while at the same time finding a relative lack of information on the copyright needs of churches and ministries.
