Copyrights are an increasingly important consideration for the Christian community. There is an explosion of Christian media that has been enabled in part by the availability of inexpensive distribution methods such as CDs, DVDs and the internet.  At the same time, churches and ministries have been using more music, video, and other media in their activities. The combination of these two factors have led folks to become more aware of copyright issues, but also to that there is a relative lack of information on the copyright needs of churches and ministries. CopyrightCommunity was created to fill this information gap. We relaunched on a new platform in June of this year and are working on a bunch of exciting content that you will see coming out in the fall. In the meantime there is plenty of useful information here including original articles, our Twitter feed of copyright news for churches and an education center with video tutorials, white papers and presentations.
